Adams Holmes Associates has devoted a great deal of time and care to assemble a professional team of the highest calibre. Key individuals taking leading roles in all commissions are members of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) or the Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI) and supported by extremely capable planning, surveying, technical and administrative staff.

The firm was established in 1999 by Richard Adams MRICS, managing director, and David Holmes MA, MRTPI, executive director.

Richard has more than 15 years’ experience as an acquisition surveyor in the telecommunications sector and currently acts as advisor to such clients as Orange, Bechtel, Transcomm and Vodafone in relation to their property requirements, undertaking site finding operations, acquisition, negotiation and legal work. He is also Company Secretary and head of sales and marketing at Adams Holmes Associates.

David has been involved in planning issues within both the public and private sectors for more than 30 years. He currently provides planning advice to clients that include Hutchison 3G, Orange, O2 Airwave and O2 (UK) Ltd, in addition to a number of landowners and commercial enterprises across the Midlands and South-West. His role encompasses the preparation and submission of planning applications and appeals - often involving DPA - and he is an experienced expert witness and advocate at Inquiry.

Fellow director, Ben Harrison MRICS, FAAV completes the senior management team at Adams Holmes Associates.

Ben, who heads up the Property Team at Adams Holmes, has many years experience within the property field, specialising in the utility sector with over 8 years experience in the telecommunications industry.  He provides clients with strategic as well as site specific advice.  Ben has a wealth of hands on property experience across all disciplines from acquisition through to de-commissioning, including rent reviews, upgrades, site share, wayleaves and compensation claims.  Telecommunications clients who have benefited from Ben's work include Orange PCS Ltd, Vodafone, 3, T-Mobile and O2 to name but a few.
